American scientists turn cellulose into gasoline

Scientists in the United States have recently found an effective method to successfully convert lignocellulosic (ie, solid biomass) plants, such as switchgrass and poplar, into “green gasoline”. These liquids can be further processed to form other components of gasoline, or simply as a mixture of octane gasoline.
