Cork bricks are more suitable for use in geothermal heating performance and advantages

The current market, known as the floor can be used for geothermal heating, many are: tiles, solid wood flooring, engineered wood flooring, laminate flooring, and even bamboo flooring, pvc flooring, but what kind of floor is best for floor heating it? Practice has proved that the excellent performance of cork tiles is more suitable for geothermal heating.

1) High temperature resistance without deformation and strong stability:
Geothermal heating heat source temperature is generally the highest temperature of about 60 degrees, from 0-60 degrees of temperature changes on the stability of the floor will have very high requirements, the floor should be able to effectively break down the release of the floor in the high temperature state of the internal stress generated. The unique honeycomb structure of cork tiles is more than the fibrous structure of solid wood flooring. It can withstand temperature changes from minus 60°C to minus 80°C under severe temperature or humidity changes, and can effectively relieve internal stress. Ensure that the floor does not crack, not curl, stability is stronger, and there will be no fading, rough light phenomenon under high temperature conditions for a long time.

2) Faster heat transfer:
In terms of thermal conductivity, ceramic tiles use heat transfer faster than wood flooring, and they have higher thermal efficiency. Tiles do not bulge or bend like wooden floors. However, the tiles are hotter and faster, and the heat preservation effect is not as good as that of the wooden floor. The heat loss is large, which may cause excessive energy consumption. After the general floor installation is completed, the total thickness is 10-14mm for laminate flooring and 15-20mm for solid wood flooring, while the thickness of cork tiles is only 4mm, not only the conductivity is fast, but also the unique honeycomb structure has good insulation. The effect is that warming up quickly and cooling down slowly will save energy.

3) Low formaldehyde emission:
Normal floor may not exceed the standard in room temperature environment. However, in geothermal environments, the higher the temperature, the higher the formaldehyde emission. The floor temperature of floor heating is about 30°C. When the amount of formaldehyde released at 20°C is about 10 times that of 15°C, it will be a very large value at 30°C. In a relatively closed residential room, together with the release of formaldehyde caused by other items in the room, indoor formaldehyde may exceed the standard and cause harm to the human body. So from this point of view, not all wood floors are suitable for geothermal heating. The release of formaldehyde from cork tiles is very low, and the formaldehyde emission at a high temperature of 45°C is only 0.3mg/L. Within the E0 level of 0.5mg/L environmental protection standard, it is only equivalent to the content of formaldehyde in an apple we eat. It is almost negligible. .

4) Water-proof and moisture-proof without fear of humid environment:
The floor used for ground radiant heating requires small dimensional change under high humidity conditions, good moisture resistance performance, and the lower the water content and water absorption thickness expansion rate, the less likely it will absorb water and expand. The moisture content of cork tiles is only about 5%, and has its own natural impermeability, waterproof and moisture-proof. It is not necessary to reserve expansion gaps during installation. After strict pavement, it can be used in wet environments such as bathrooms and kitchens.

5) Comfortable and beautiful:
Geothermal heating meets the physiological requirements of "warm foot and cool roof". The indoor temperature gradually decreases from the bottom up, giving people a comfortable feeling of cooling their feet, and using cork tiles is more flexible, and the barefoot is not cool. Not slippery, not hard, more comfortable and natural. Extremely in the unheated season (near spring or autumn in winter and winter when there is no heating), it can also be barefoot, non-skid, and not hard to step on. Its comfort is tile and other wood. The floor can't do it.

Experiments and practical use show that cork bricks have better performance than ceramic tile and wood flooring in terms of high temperature resistance without deformation, heat conduction and heat preservation, formaldehyde environmental protection, waterproof and moisture proof, comfortable and beautiful appearance, and are extremely suitable for geothermal heating and geothermal heating. The perfect configuration!

TCT Hole Saw

Our Tungsten Carbide Tipped Cutters(TCT hole saws) are a superior alternative to conventional Bi-Metal Hole saws. They cut faster, cleaner, and last longer. Say goodbye to burnt out, smoking holesaws. Try a T.C.T. you'll love it.

Tungsten cutters cut through, steel plate, iron, aluminium, copper, cast iron, and most importantly, stainless steel and other tough alloys.

The spring loaded pilot bit ejects the cut slug, saving time. The cutter body then cuts a clean, burr-free hole faster than conventional twist drills or hole saws.

T.C.T. cutters are the standard for electrical construction, transit work and general metal fabrication. The spring on the pilot bit ejects the cut slug.

With normal care, Tool life is significantly longer than other hole cutting tools. Inexpensive resharpening will allow repeated use
