As the name suggests, PS diffusion board is made of PS. PS Chinese name is polystyrene. It is a relatively low-order transparent brittle glue in petrochemical. The English is GPPS, the specific gravity is only 1.047~1.049, when it is completely transparent. The light transmittance is 87%, which is the second highest transparent material in the plastic which is second only to PC. It is easy to turn yellow in weather resistance and extremely brittle when it is extremely cold. It is generally used for one-size products.
1. A diffusing plate is a multi-angle, multi-directional refraction, reflection and scattering phenomenon when light passes through a diffusion layer of a substrate such as PC/PMMA/PS and encounters a medium (diffusion particle) different in refractive index. If only the transparent resin is used as the lampshade, although the light transmittance is high, it can basically reach more than 90%, but the light scattering effect is not ideal, and the light source concealing performance is poor. Whiteboard resin, which has a low light transmittance, seriously affects the illumination of LED lights.
