1. The cause of the error
After the target flowmeter is installed according to the technical conditions, it is put into operation according to the operation steps. It is found that a few instruments display large errors, and some alarms display full scale. Removed at the site and checked with the weight hanging method, and found that the flow meter is good. After analysis, the main reasons are as follows.
1) Some large impurities in the fluid are wound around the target rod, and it is easy to indicate the full scale in the state of flow. This phenomenon mainly exists in the measurement of circulating water conditions, due to the direct extraction of river water, without filtration.
2) Due to the installation error, it is not guaranteed that all the targets of the inserted target flowmeter are located in the center of the pipeline, nor can the target panel be completely perpendicular to the pipeline. Therefore, the difference between the use condition and the pre-shipment calibration condition is generated, thereby causing measurement error of the target flow meter.
2. Solution
1) In order to prevent the large debris in the fluid from entanglement with the target plate (rod), a filter is added at the pump outlet to filter out these large debris.
2) Correct the error of the target flowmeter at the production site by the comparison method. Instruments used: 1 4 and a half digital multimeter; 1 portable ultrasonic flowmeter; necessary wiring clamps and tools.
