European chlor-alkali plant operating rate fell slightly in July

It is reported that European Chlor-Alkali Industry Association EuroChlor recently released the European chlor-alkali industry plant operating rate and production report in July, which showed that in July, European chlorine production increased by approximately 1.5% compared with June to 853,262 tons, compared with 826,136 tons in the same period of last year. The output increased by about 3.3%. However, in July, the output of caustic soda in Europe decreased by 6,416 tons to 245,708 tons in June, a decrease of about 2.5%, and a drop of about 26% compared with the output of 332,600 tons in the same period of last year.

According to the European Chloride Organization, the capacity utilization rate of Europe's chlor-alkali industry fell by 1.7 percentage points to 78.9% in June from the previous month.
