Pea tip test technique

Pea tip, also known as pea head, pea seedlings, asparagus, edible parts are tender seedlings, young shoots. It is rich in nutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium and phosphorus. The town of Chabuchar County was introduced for trial production in 2007.

First, the variety selection

The seed used for the production of pea tip requires thicker seed coat, large round size, smooth surface, high germination rate, purity and clarity. The county is introduced as a farmland variety in Yunnan.

Second, soil preparation and fertilization

The roots of peas are weak. It is advisable to choose loam with convenient drainage and medium fertility. When planting the soil, it should be properly cultivated to keep the soil loose, so that the seedlings are neatly arranged, the seedlings grow robustly, and the root system is better promoted and the resistance to stress is enhanced. Each 667 square meters of high-quality decomposed farmyard manure 3000 ~ 5000 kg, compound fertilizer 50 kg.

Third, the date of planting

The peas are planted for 1 to 2 days before sowing, which can increase the emergence rate. The suitable growth temperature of the pea tip is 18-20 °C, and the summer sowing should be shaded and cooled. Sowing the pea tip should be densely planted, the pea tip line is 30 cm, the broadcast is 10 cm, and the 667 square meter is suitable for 15 kg.

Fourth, field management

The peas are covered with soil 1 to 2 cm after sowing, keeping the soil moist. Do not water the peas before emergence. To prevent rotten seeds, when the seedling height is 18 to 20 cm (about 1 month after sowing), there are 8 to 10 true leaves. top notch. After the first and second harvests, each of the 667 square meters of urea was 10 to 15 kilograms, and the water was poured. Prevent the soil from being too dry and too wet, in order to promote the tenderness of the young shoots and increase the yield of the tender head. During the growth of pea seedlings, if there is a lot of rain, drain it in time to prevent the humidity in the field from being too high and induce disease. Timely cultivating weeding.

V. Harvesting technology

About 35 days after sowing, when the pea seedling grows to a height of 18-20 cm, the pea tender tip can be harvested. Generally, 1 to 2 young leaves that have not been fully scattered are picked at the top; after half a month, they can be harvested. The branches are tender and pointed, and each branch should leave 2 to 3 knots in the base to continue to produce branches; it can be picked once every 10 to 15 days. The harvest time of pea seedlings is best in the evening or early morning. After being collected, put them in the basket and do not pile up to prevent heat and decay. If you can't go public on the day after picking up the top, you can spread it on the ground, spray it with fresh water and keep it for sale the next day.

Sixth, pest control

Focus on controlling leaf miners and aphids. The aphids mainly suck the stem and leaf juice, causing the leaves to curl and turn yellow, and the young shoots lose their commercial value. At the same time, it spreads the virus disease, making the yellow leaves of the new leaves smaller, shrinking and curling, the leaves are brittle, and the plants are short and dead. The yellow board can be used to trap and kill. It can also be controlled by spraying with 1.8% eucalyptus emulsifiable concentrate or smectite sputum 0.5 sputum. The safety interval is ≥10 days. No disease occurred during the trial.
