Secondly, the instruction manual for unqualified furniture did not meet the standard requirements, and there were 16 batches; 7 companies did not provide instructions for use, accounting for 13.5% of the number of products tested. In addition, some of the wood-based panel parts used in unqualified furniture are not edge-sealed, the fittings are installed, and the strength of the drawer slides is not up to standard. The Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau reminds consumers that buying furniture must go to a furniture store of a certain scale to purchase a regular brand of products. After purchase, a formal invoice should be issued, and a product instruction manual and a warranty card should be requested, so that rights can be defended when quality problems occur. It is necessary to attach great importance to whether the harmful substances of wood furniture, especially the amount of formaldehyde released, exceeds the standard, and the supplier is required to provide proof of product inspection.
