Abstract of the main contents of the paper: It is well known that Co has the best comprehensive application performance in metal bond diamond tools, but the price is relatively expensive, which limits the scope and quantity of its application. Therefore, the search for a cheap alternative to Co is one of the technological development routes in the industry. "Iron-cobalt-iron" is one of the hot topics and efforts in the industry in recent years. In order to achieve the effect of “cobalt-based cobaltâ€, it is first necessary to clarify the characteristics of Co. In particular, what are the unique application characteristics of Co in the metal bond of diamond tools? In short, what is the "iron" with cobalt? Only by clarifying these basic problems can we provide guidance for the research of “iron-based cobalt†and lay the foundation for the design and development of ferroalloy products with practical practical significance. Fully explore the application characteristics of Co and seek a feasible technical route of “cobalt-based cobaltâ€, which can greatly improve the comprehensive performance of diamond tools.
