Normative Market Wood Door Industry Standards Cannot Delay

Regulating the Market Among our domestic manufacturers, only a few big brands are implementing their own standardization operations. Some small manufacturers and second-rate manufacturers do not have uniform industry standards, and they bring a series of problems to consumers.

Industry standards are not uniform: Industry standardization has already been implemented in wooden door factories in some developed countries in Europe, which not only benefits the industry's standardization and development, but also facilitates consumer purchase. At present, China does not have an industry standard for the production of wooden doors. Among our domestic manufacturers, only a few big brands are implementing their own standardization operations. Some small manufacturers and second-rate manufacturers do not have uniform industry standards and bring a series of products to consumers. The problem. Some consumers will adjust the wooden doors after the wooden doors are installed for one year, such as adding some accessories or increasing storage space. If the original wooden door does not meet the standardization of production, the wooden doors need to be adjusted when the transformation is made. This kind of transformation is time-consuming and laborious, making consumers difficult.

Environmental protection is not up to standard: In the wooden door area of the home market, most of the environmental protection inspection certificates provided by the merchants are “wood inspection reports” or “door inspection reports”, and no wooden door environmental protection inspection certificate has emerged. According to informed sources, there are two main types of “false environmental protection” in the wood industry. One situation is to use environmental standards. For example, some wood door manufacturers advertise the plate of the product to meet the E0 standard. In fact, even the E1 standard that is one level lower than the E0 standard has not been achieved. The free formaldehyde content of the E1 sheet has been fully in line with the environmental protection requirements of wooden doors, while the E0 sheet is rare in the country due to its high cost.

There are two sources of market chaos. One is that there are many companies; the other is that the prices are low. These two factors are linked to each other and interact with each other, directly lowering the overall profit of the wooden door industry. Due to the sharp decline in profits, many old problems have re-entered our sights.

Material Adulteration: Due to its special environment, furniture is not suitable for use in rooms. The more mature materials in Europe are particleboard, MDF, and solid wood. In particular, MDF also accounts for 70% to 80% of the market. For example, E2 sheet is impersonated as E1 and E0, and the sample is not the same as delivery. In addition, even the same material will have great differences in quality and environmental protection due to different production processes.

The industry is highly fragmented and the market concentration is low: The wooden door market concentrates dozens of brands on the building materials market in each region. So many brands influx in two or three years, resulting in the current wooden market crowded, uneven situation. This will inevitably lead to increased competition from manufacturers and premature price dependence.

In order to survive, most companies have to sacrifice their interests at the expense of trying to reduce costs in the production and sales cycle, resulting in product quality and after-sales service is not guaranteed, the result is increased consumer complaints, the industry image is damaged.
