1.1 Security Conference

A safety conference should be held to strengthen the awareness of each employee on safety operations and pollution prevention so as to enhance the safety and environmental awareness of all staff. By participating in safety meetings, employees can obtain and share various information about environmental issues, safety issues, codes of practice, daily work activities, accidents and dangers. The safety conference can effectively consolidate the effectiveness of routine safety training, but it cannot replace conventional safety training.

Pre-class safety meeting

Before starting a new task, supervisors and team members should hold a pre-class safety meeting to discuss work plans, work arrangements, special or unusual risk factors, and how to avoid such dangers. A safety meeting should be held prior to starting any unconventional work or after conditions have changed. When planning a hazardous or unusual operation, the designated person in charge ( PIC ) should be prepared to hold relevant safety meetings at any time.

Slip, trip and fall

Slips, trips, and falls can cause a variety of accidents, and this can be prevented by regulating the day-to-day behavior of employees.

Spills should be cleaned immediately and wet areas should be cleaned promptly.

Be careful when walking on wet roads.

Cables and hoses must not cross walkways, stairs, and ladders. If possible, bundle strands of cable together, lay along the edge of the walkway, or place it on one side of the work area.

Walkways and gratings should be intact and any damage or deterioration of the gratings must be repaired or replaced as soon as possible. The damaged area is fenced with fences until the repair work is completed.

If a worker must tread on a pipe or walk through the official road during his normal course of work, steps, ramps or fences should be erected in the corresponding stepped and walking positions.

Stairs should be used when walking on stairs, and only one step at a time.

As a routine practice, workers should not climb pipes, valves, machine parts, or anything else that is not used as a pavement or walk on it. If employees need to perform certain tasks on the equipment, they should design and build a workbench on these equipment.

Organize

Employees should keep the work area clean and tidy. Do not put tools on the ground so as not to trip others. Employees should ensure that the work area is clean and there are no risk factors or safety hazards during the shift or after the completion of the work.

Be sure to put all kinds of tools and materials safely and neatly in designated areas.

Cables/ropes and hoses should be coiled when not in use and should not be stacked on the walkway.

Waste products should be placed in designated waste containers and cleaned in time. A good way to manage a warehouse is to eliminate unnecessary flammable products. The most direct preventive measure is to prevent the accumulation of waste products, including oil spills, wood, rags, paper, building materials waste, and rubber products. Instead of flammable materials such as steel, bottles, tubes, and masonry, all employees working in the area are risk factors for falling.

Lawn and shrubs should be mown regularly to prevent the growth of vegetation in the production facilities (including the protective dike in the tank area).

Fence

Warning signs and temporary barriers or roadblocks should be set up in dangerous areas to remind employees to avoid dangers, such as work-at-height, walkways, floors, gratings, handrails, or pits or gaps in walls. Radiation work requires special enclosures and precautions.

Before digging holes or holes in the floor or fence, in order to prevent other people from falling into it, a warning zone should be placed 1.5m ( 5 feet ) away from the pit and hole to prevent other people from entering the operation area. In addition, special arrangements should be made for a person (in the area of the warning zone) to maintain visual contact with the person(s) who is close to the work area (to determine the situation clearly). The only duty of this person is to prevent others from falling into pits and holes. If mobile barriers have been established as roadblocks, there is no need for special care.

High-altitude operations

Efforts should be made to avoid or minimize the risk of falling from high above ground. Employees working at heights should remind all personnel below to pay attention to safety.

Tools and materials should be delivered in a safe manner. Never throw and throw tools. If you need to lift the tool with a rope, special care should be taken to ensure that the tool is firmly tied with the rope and that there is no danger of falling off. Use strong bags or buckets to lift or hang tools. If possible, lanyards should be used to further fix the tool to prevent it from falling off.

You should enclose high-altitude areas where objects may fall from high altitudes, and arrange dedicated guards to prevent others from entering the work area. You can also set a protective net to catch objects falling from a height.

First aid kit

All vehicles and office buildings in the northeast Sichuan project should have at least one fully equipped first aid kit. If you use the first aid kit, you should notify your supervisor of the matter for whatever reason.

Playful

Playful banter and mischief are prohibited.

Hair and accessories

The staff with long hair must wear a hood when working next to a running machine or rotating equipment to prevent the hair from getting caught in the machine and equipment.

Some employees wear accessories such as rings, pendants, necklaces, earrings, and watches, but if accessories may pose a safety hazard during operations, they should be removed, for example, near a running machine, rotating equipment, or electrical equipment. Time.

1.10 Personal Electronic Devices ( PEDS )

No non-intrinsically safe personal electronic devices, such as cameras, cell phones, radios, calculators, laptops, and portable personal information managers, etc., may be used in restricted areas unless they have a hot work permit issued and approved by the relevant authority.

1.11 Smoking

Only smoking in designated smoking areas. All restricted areas are non-smoking, that is, near natural gas processing and compressors. No smoking is allowed near wellheads, separation and treatment facilities, fuel storage areas and dangerous goods storage areas.

In addition to the ad hoc smoking area, the company’s facilities and buildings—including offices, dormitories, and canteens—are non-smoking areas.

Any violations will be subject to disciplinary action or even dismissal.
