Research on food safety information sharing and public management system through appraisal

The "Food Safety Information Sharing and Public Management System Research" project chaired by the Institute of Agricultural Information of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences has recently passed the results appraisal. Experts believe that the results have opened up new areas for food safety research and reached world advanced levels in the design of food safety early warning indicators and food safety public management system framework.

The project host Xu Shiwei said that after more than four years of research, the project has achieved four major innovations: First, it conducted a comprehensive study on food safety information sharing and public management theory, proposed and established a systematic food safety public management and food The safety information sharing system; secondly, the food safety early warning indicator system that combines food quantity safety, quality safety and sustainability safety was designed for the first time, and the calculation method and safety threshold for early warning indicators were established; The strategic conception and theoretical framework of the food safety public management system starts with environmental supervision, process control, market access, risk monitoring, quality traceability and information exchange, and systematically puts forward the monitoring and early warning of the food safety public management system. Guidance, industrial development, and security assurance functions; Fourth, the use of modern information technology, research and development of the "China's food safety information sharing and public management system," effectively solve the current food safety information dispersion, duplication and sharing problems, in information technology Integrated Application and Information Collection Engine based on a new generation of ground-breaking aspects of the site supports WEB2.0. The research results of this project have been well applied in the formulation of macroscopic decision-making processes by relevant government departments. The research methods and main conclusions have important reference value for related units and departments to carry out relevant work.
