Bangladesh or will import large amounts of urea

Recently, due to the allocation of more natural gas for electricity and civilian use by the Bangladeshi government, five of Bangladesh Chemical Industry's six plants were forced to stop production. At present, the country's domestic urea stocks are 600,000 tons. If urea production continues to be affected by natural gas shortages, the country will have to import urea in the coming months.
