Global division of labor and cooperation push the graphene industry to leap

HC Plastics News: As early as February 2015, the ambitious European “Graphene Flagship Program” took the lead in sketching the graphene technology roadmap for the next 10 years, aiming to promote this magical two-dimensional material from the laboratory to the society. In the application, guide scientific research institutions and industry to develop related application products. In just two or three years, what surprised Europeans is that China's graphene industrialization speed is changing with each passing day. From a global perspective, it has taken the lead in the commercial application of graphene. As a result, more and more eyes around the world began to focus on China, and they are particularly looking forward to participating in the 2017 China International Graphene Innovation Conference, which will be held in Nanjing on September 24, in line with the theme of the conference, "Globalization of Division of Labor and Cooperation," in Graphene Innovation. In the application, explore the advantages of complementary advantages, cooperation and win-win opportunities, and speed up the industrialization process.

Connaught to come to China to make innovation and entrepreneurial addiction

If graphene is "born" in Europe, it is like a seed to find a warm room, and China's "time and place" and the "fertile soil" of human beings are cultivating seeds to take root and sprout.

At the graphene conference, the professor of the University of Manchester, An Aluminum, was awarded the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics for the breakthrough of graphene in the two-dimensional space. His keynote speech has made many graphene fans look forward to it, because his scientific and innovative thinking is always on the wrong path, and the latest research results shared by each participant are very open.

“Without quantitative production, experimental materials will not have vitality.” The “father of graphene” has been blunt about the development of British graphene applications. At the graphene conference held in Qingdao in 2016, he expressed sincerely, "Thanks to China, which leads the commercialization of graphene, without the help of China, the global graphene field will never develop on such a large scale."

In September last year, Heim, together with the graphene composite technology developed by his team, combined with the graphene production process developed by Dr. Xiao Xiaoyue of Qingdao Detong Nanotechnology Co., Ltd., was established in the “Hometown of Graphite” Shandong Lacey. Qingdao Dean New Carbon Composite Materials Co., Ltd. has become the largest graphene pulp production line base in the north of the Yangtze River in China, to promote the application of graphene composite materials in LED lighting systems, automotive industry, new energy, aerospace and other applications.

Since 2015, two of the two winners of the graphene material have discovered the Nobel Prize winner Heim and his student Constantine. Novo Shalov led the team to cooperate with the Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone, which is highly concerned about the development of the graphene industry. The Nanjing Graphene Materials Application Innovation Center and Industrial Park project jointly built by the two parties will be settled in the development zone. As a result, the graphene printed antenna, graphene lighting, and graphene PCB, which are currently hatched by the Nanjing Innovation Center, have been successfully incubated in the development zone and entered the industrialization process.

The local government has achieved a breakthrough in the introduction of the Nobel Prize for talents, and the Nobel Laureate has also experienced the addiction of experiencing innovation and entrepreneurship.

Famous foreign universities handed olive branches

So far, China is the world's graphene industry with the largest amount of investment and patents. Compared with European and American countries, China can find more applications in the fields of mobile phone manufacturing, wearable, and steel, cement, aluminum and other traditional fields. It has enabled foreign famous universities and scientific research institutions to extend the olive branch of collaborative innovation application to Chinese enterprises.

On August 28th, Princeton University of the United States signed a research and development agreement on graphene polymer composite materials with Shandong Lutai Holding Group. Dr. Hou Shifeng, the chairman of Jining Lite Nano Co., Ltd., who accompanied him, told reporters that the cooperation was highly valued by the school, and the American National Academy of Engineering and Academy of Sciences, Princeton University, Pablo. De Benedetti, Rodney, deputy director of the Institute of Materials Science and Technology at Princeton University. Professor Priestley and other representatives of Chinese companies have cordial talks. The division of labor is conducted by Princeton University on the synthesis of composite materials such as graphene and PVC. The scientific research results will be scaled up in Shandong Lutai.

Two years ago, the Chemical Research Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Heilongjiang Huasheng Graphite Co., Ltd. signed a contract for the joint research and development project of graphene lubricants. The famous nanomaterials expert Xie Liujing led the team and the Chinese expert team to jointly tackle the problem. Developed high-dispersion and high-stability graphene lubricating oil additives by using Huasheng's arc-type nano-sized graphene and redox-type large-sized graphene powder materials, and successfully realized the industrialization of graphene-modified lubricating oil. The production line of 50,000 tons has been put into production, and related products have attracted much attention at the 2017 China Shenyang International Lubrication Exhibition.

Open a new chapter of "One Belt, One Road"

“At present, the global graphene industry is still in its infancy, and there are still many factors affecting the development of the industry. However, it is our common desire to promote the healthy and rapid development of the global graphene industry and achieve win-win cooperation.” National New Materials Industry Development Expert Consultation Dr. Li Yichun, member of the committee and secretary general of China's Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance (CGIA), said in an interview with the Science and Technology Daily.

At the invitation of Belarus, Shenzhen Uniwang New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. recently planned to settle in Zhongbai Industrial Park, the largest economic and technological cooperation project between China and Belarus. Feng Guanping, the founder of China's graphene industry, said with great enthusiasm: "Let Uniwang first explore the road and make Chinese companies become the world's leading "smart makers" with scientific and technological strength."

In the middle and late August, the Alliance led the China Graphene Industry Delegation to practice the “One Belt and One Road” graphene industry cooperation, and explored the development of graphene nanotechnology and industrial development in Malaysia. The two sides will cooperate in project cooperation and industrial investment. And plans to jointly establish multi-source resources to jointly establish a graphene innovation research and development center, and is expected to sign a cooperation agreement at the graphene conference to open a new chapter of the “Belt and Road”.

As the person in charge of the organizer of the graphene conference, Li Yichun emphasized that we are convinced that the sustainable development of the graphene industry depends on the joint efforts of all countries in the world. The graphene conference will respect the diversity, inclusiveness and openness of the global graphene industry-university-research cooperation, and make an important contribution to the development of the graphene industry.

An evacuated tube is two glass tubes, one within the other, joined at each end. The space between these tubes is evacuated so the space is under a vacuum seal. Vacuums are excellent insulators (think thermos.) The inner tube is coated with a selective coating that converts light into heat.

Guaranteed for fifteen years (the longest warranty on the market) Linuo tubes are made from high quality borosilicate glass and are fused together. This provides an all glass seal. The Linuo evacuated tube uses a unique three layer selective coating instead of the standard single al-n/al coating. It consists of an infrared emission layer, an absorption layer and an anti-reflective layer, giving a much improved performance.
