Faced with the pressure of production and operation of enterprises, with limited space for cost reduction in other processes in aluminum production, in the second half of last year, technicians in the anode assembly area performed technical optimization. Although the production cost was reduced, the core technology of phosphorus pig iron was used. The successful control of the phosphorus index means that the carbon equivalent value can reach the ideal state of smelting, which plays a key role in the temperature of the molten iron. Every 100°C decrease in the temperature of the molten iron means that the treatment time of the molten iron in the intermediate frequency furnace can be reduced by 5 to 8 minutes, thereby effectively reducing the production cost.

On this basis, the technicians also broke the monopoly of new material technology for phosphorus pig iron low-phosphate technology, and through large-scale tests, on the basis of realizing 100% recycling of phosphorus pig iron waste, the waste cathode square steel, scrap steel claw and other scrap steel replaced high Carbon pig iron supplements the iron loss in the smelting of phosphorus pig iron and reduces the purchase of pig iron and phosphorus iron by more than 90%.
