[China Superhard Materials Network Beijing Report] Under the background of the continuous deepening of "Made in China 2025", today's traditional manufacturing industry is facing deep transformation and upgrading, and ultra-precision processing with higher added value and higher technical barriers is also emerging. On April 18th, the International Diamond Conference-Super Precision Machining Forum continued on the second day. Many experts and scholars in the precision grinding industry came to meet the academic feast and explore the innovation, application and development of ultra-precision processing.

Today's forum was hosted by Professor Wang Qinsheng, Director of the Technical Expert Committee of the Superhard Materials Branch of the China Machine Tool Industry Association, and Professor Li Zhengxin, Associate Dean of the School of Materials, Henan University of Technology.

Mr. Zhan Lifeng, Technical Director of Super Precision Business Unit of Foxconn Industrial Internet Co., Ltd., made the theme of "Super Precision Power Industry Development", introducing the development history of Foxconn precision machining in the past 30 years, independently developed diamond tools, precision machining equipment, precision Measuring instrument and CAD processing software. Then it focused on the application of single crystal diamond tools in nano-scale ultra-precision machining and the major achievements of Foxconn Group in the field of intelligent manufacturing and industrial Internet.

Prof. Yuan Julong from Zhejiang University of Technology gave a report on the application of diamond in ultra-precision abrasive grain processing. The report focuses on the main applications of diamond abrasive grains, precision and ultra-precision abrasive processing classification, ultra-precision grinding technology for diamond grinding wheels and sapphire wafers, ELID grinding technology, composite diamond tool processing and other advanced diamond-bonded abrasive tools. Ultra-precision machining technology, as well as ultra-precision polishing technology of free diamond abrasive grains such as diamond micro-powder "dilatation" polishing technology and force rheological polishing technology.
