Plant bacterial wilt and blight, often referred to as "plant cancer," is one of the most destructive plant diseases globally, causing extensive damage and economic losses. The development and industrialization of a novel, high-efficiency microbial pesticide called "Golden Kill" marks a significant breakthrough in combating soil-borne diseases such as bacterial wilt and blight. Pioneered both domestically and internationally, this innovative product offers a sustainable solution to a long-standing agricultural challenge.
The China Pesticide Network introduces in detail the development and application of "Golden Kill." Supported by several key national projects, including the National Modern Agricultural Technology Theme “863†Project (2002AA245011), the National Agricultural Science and Technology Achievements Transformation Fund Project (04EFN213100093), and the Shanghai Science and Technology Research Project (034319255), East China University of Science and Technology and Shanghai Zeyuan Marine Biotechnology Co., Ltd. collaborated to develop a new type of microbial pesticide based on *Bacillus polymyxa*. This product, known as 0.1 billion CFU/g *Bacillus polymyxa* fine granules (trade name: KANGDILEIDE Gold Dry), is a broad-spectrum biological agent that effectively controls pathogenic bacteria through competitive inhibition and also enhances plant resistance to diseases.
KANGDILEIDE has been granted independent intellectual property rights, including Chinese invention patent ZL02151019.9, international publication WO2004/050861, and U.S. patent US2006/0018883A1. It received recognition from the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission and was identified as an advanced technological achievement. The product was classified as a Grade A project under the Shanghai High-tech Achievement Transformation Program.
After undergoing four years of rigorous testing and registration, KANGDILEIDE received temporary registration from the Ministry of Agriculture on March 8, 2004, for use on tobacco, tomato, eggplant, and pepper crops (Registration No. LS20040563). It is currently being registered for broader application in controlling plant blight.
In October 2004, the China Tobacco Production and Marketing Company recommended it as the only biological pesticide for controlling tobacco bacterial wilt in China. It was later endorsed by Hunan Tobacco Company in 2005 and again by China Tobacco in 2006. Yunnan Tobacco Company also included it in its list of effective pesticides for bacterial wilt control in 2006.
As the first scientific achievement of the National Tenth Five-Year Plan, KANGDILEIDE is the world's first microbial pesticide containing *Bacillus polymyxa* as the active ingredient. It is considered the most ideal solution for managing bacterial wilt and blight in plants.
**Key Features of the Product:**
- Effective against fungal soil-borne diseases and plant wilts.
- Demonstrates strong field control effects on tomato, eggplant, pepper, watermelon, melon, cucumber, bitter gourd, banana, and others, with up to 65–85% efficacy.
- Suitable for a wide range of crops, including taro soft rot, tomato blight, polygonatum rot, flower root rot, lily blight, watermelon anthracnose, and tobacco brown spot disease.
Field trials and demonstrations have shown that KANGDILEIDE provides three main benefits:
1. It controls bacterial and fungal soil-borne diseases through root irrigation, significantly reducing leaf infections.
2. It effectively manages foliar bacterial and fungal diseases via spraying.
3. It promotes plant growth and increases yield.
Notably, the product shows excellent control over bacterial soil-borne diseases and plant bacterial wilt. In the late harvest stage, it achieves 70–92% control of bacterial wilt in tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, tobacco, mangosteen, and ginger, with some cases showing a 493% increase in yield when the infection rate reached 97%.
In addition, KANGDILEIDE has a noticeable growth-promoting effect. Compared to the control group, it can increase the height of field crops by 10–30 cm. Even in the absence of disease, it can boost yields by 27.5%, with the most significant increase occurring before harvest.
Furniture Concealed Flush Handles
Furniture Concealed Flush Handles have been traditionally intended for Furniture Cabinet due to the need for Cabinet to pull or sliding back into a pocket, thus precluding the use of a knobs that protrudes from the face of the panel. Our Furniture Concealed Flush Pull Handles can fit for any type of decor of the house.
