Press-type steel plate roof photovoltaic power plant project connection form discussion

This article focuses on light pressure profiled steel rigid waterproof roof, unlike other rooftop distributed photovoltaic power plant projects, the roof of this paper adopts TPO flexible waterproofing membrane roof, and the structural level of the roof is from bottom to top: steel purlin, steel plate, PE Film, insulation layer, TPO membrane.

The outermost layer of the roof is not a profiled steel sheet. The photovoltaic system supporting structure cannot be fixed on the roof by using a jig. It can only be connected to the lower structure through the replay and placing on the roof, or through the connecting piece through the insulating layer. The various forms are compared as follows:

Counterweight method

This program does not destroy the original roofing waterproofing house, and it is placed on the roof in the form of weights. The counterweight block is not connected with the original roof. The weight block is separated from the roof joint by the SBS waterproofing membrane to protect the original roof. destroyed. However, in order to counteract the wind suction, the uniform load per unit area of the photovoltaic system and the counterweight increases by 0.36 KN/m2, which generally exceeds the design value of the original structure roof load.

Connection with steel plate

The connecting member passes through the roofing flexible waterproof layer and the insulating layer and is connected with the steel plate. In order to exert uniform force, each steel plate must be connected with the supporting structure. In this way, there will be a large number of connecting elements on the roof penetrating the waterproof layer and the thermal insulation layer, which has great potential for water leakage.

Connect with roofing sandalwood

The connecting member passes through the roofing flexible waterproof layer, insulation layer, steel plate, and is connected with the roof purlins. The original design roof had no reserved connection holes, making it difficult to drill in the field. In addition, the connection hole of the upper flange of the purlin will weaken the cross section of the purlin, affecting the bearing capacity of the purlin.

Connection to steel roof trusses or roof steel beams

The connecting member passes through the roofing system and is connected to a steel truss or roof steel girder. This type of connection transmits force directly and has no effect on the mechanical properties of the steel bearing plate and purlin, and it has less penetrating points on the roof, which is beneficial to waterproofing. This program needs to control the weight of the photovoltaic system support structure so as not to exceed the bearing capacity of the lower structure. In addition, the connection to the steel roof truss or roof steel beam must be welded on site. To avoid damage to the main structure, proper welding procedures must be used. If necessary, temporary support must be provided.

For comprehensive comparison, it is recommended to install the roof photovoltaic support structure in a direct connection with the roof truss or roof steel girder.
